About the platform
A clearer way to discover your next stay
RavDorm brings accommodation discovery, owner communication, roommate matching and safety information into one focused platform for students, interns and working professionals in India.
What RavDorm is built for
Moving for college, an internship or a first job often means comparing scattered property information, uncertain availability and unfamiliar neighbourhoods. RavDorm is designed to make that early research more organised. People can browse public PG, hostel, flat, shared-room and private-room listings, compare practical details, save options, submit an enquiry and continue a private conversation after the owner responds. Roommate discovery provides a separate path for people who want to compare location, budget and lifestyle preferences before connecting.
How listings reach the public
Owners can create and maintain property pages, but a new listing remains outside public discovery until it enters RavDorm's moderation workflow. A Reviewed label means the listing passed that platform review; it is not a title investigation, structural inspection, licence verification, safety guarantee or endorsement. RavDorm may also display an explicitly unverified page where an owner is not yet connected. Those pages are clearly labelled so visitors can distinguish their status and make an informed decision.
Our platform boundary
RavDorm provides discovery, communication, reporting and moderation tools. It does not collect rent, deposits or booking money, and it is not the landlord, tenant, broker or a party to a tenancy. Before visiting, paying or moving, users should independently inspect the property, identify the counterparty, verify their authority, review a written agreement and use a traceable payment method outside RavDorm. Our Safety Centre, Verification Policy and grievance process explain these safeguards in detail.
