1. Be authentic and accurate
- Use your own identity and current contact information.
- Publish only properties you own or are authorised to manage.
- Use recent, genuine images and clearly label virtual staging or material digital alteration.
- State rent, deposit, compulsory charges, availability, rules and limitations accurately.
- Write reviews based on a genuine interaction and disclose any relevant incentive.
2. Respect people and consent
Do not threaten, bully, shame, stalk, intimidate, sexually harass or repeatedly contact someone after they ask you to stop.
Do not publish another person's phone number, address, identity document, private messages or intimate material without a lawful basis and their permission. Never share sexual content involving a minor or intimate content shared without consent.
3. No hate or unlawful discrimination
Do not attack or exclude a person through hateful, degrading or threatening content based on protected identity or vulnerability. Property rules and roommate preferences must be described neutrally, honestly and in compliance with applicable law. A preference field is not permission to harass or humiliate anyone.
4. No scams, manipulation or unsafe conduct
- No advance-payment pressure, false urgency, bait listings or switching to a different property after contact.
- No requests for passwords, one-time codes, remote-device access or unnecessary identity documents.
- No fake accounts, coordinated reviews, false enquiries, fabricated availability or manipulated engagement.
- No weapons, drugs, trafficking, sexual services, unlawful gambling or other illegal transactions.
- No malware, phishing, scraping, credential collection or attempts to bypass security controls.
5. Messages and attachments
Keep conversations relevant to accommodation or roommate discovery. Do not send spam, explicit content, threats, mass promotions or files intended to harm a device. RavDorm may restrict attachments and inspect relevant content when investigating a report or security incident, subject to the Privacy Policy.
6. Artificial and manipulated content
Deceptive impersonation, deepfakes and synthetic evidence are prohibited. If an image is virtually staged, AI-generated or materially altered, disclose that clearly beside the image. Never alter a property image in a way that hides damage, changes room size or invents an amenity.
7. Reviews and public feedback
- Describe your genuine experience without personal attacks or unrelated allegations.
- Do not exchange money, discounts or threats for a particular rating.
- Do not include private contact, financial, identity or health information.
- Owners may respond factually but may not pressure a reviewer to remove honest feedback.
8. Enforcement and appeals
Depending on context and severity, RavDorm may warn a user, limit a feature, reduce visibility, remove content, request listing changes, suspend an account, preserve evidence or refer a matter to competent authorities. Serious or urgent harm may require immediate action.
You may report content using the in-product Report control or the Grievance and Takedown page. If you believe an enforcement decision was mistaken, provide the report or decision identifier and relevant evidence when asking for review.
