1. Who operates RavDorm and who may use it
RavDorm is operated by Vansh Pujari, Founder, from FF-8,sukhdham signature narayan vidhyalay vadodara 390019. “RavDorm”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract to create or use an account. The first public release is not offered to children. By registering, you confirm that the details you provide are truthful and that you meet this age requirement.
2. Accepting and recording these terms
You accept these terms when you select the acceptance checkbox and create an account. We may record your account identifier, the policy version and acceptance time as evidence of that choice. If a material update requires renewed agreement or consent, RavDorm will present the updated document and obtain a fresh affirmative acceptance before relying on it; continued use alone will not be treated as consent where consent is required.
Our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Verification Policy and, for owners, Owner and Listing Agreement form part of these terms.
3. Accounts and account security
- Use one account that belongs to you and keep your information accurate.
- Protect your password and devices, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access.
- Do not sell, transfer, share or impersonate another person's account.
- Do not attempt to obtain administrator, owner or another user's permissions.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by RavDorm's failure to use reasonable safeguards.
4. What the service does
RavDorm lets eligible users create profiles, browse accommodation and roommate requirements, save listings, submit enquiries, request visits, exchange messages, review completed experiences and report content. Owners can create listings that remain outside public discovery until the applicable review workflow is completed.
A visit request is only a request to communicate. It is not a reservation, tenancy approval or commitment by RavDorm or an owner. Users must independently agree all inspections, documents, rent, deposits, house rules and tenancy terms.
5. Listings, verification and user decisions
Owners are responsible for their listings and authority to offer a property. RavDorm may review information, request evidence and remove a listing, but no review eliminates fraud, changes in availability or undisclosed property conditions.
“Approved” and “Verified” have the limited meanings in our Verification Policy. They are not guarantees of title, licences, structural condition, fire safety, habitability, behaviour, creditworthiness or a future transaction.
Before paying anyone or moving in, inspect the property, identify the counterparty, verify their authority, read a written agreement and use a traceable payment method outside RavDorm. Follow the Safety Centre guidance.
6. Payments and fees
RavDorm does not currently process rent, security deposits, token amounts or booking payments. Do not send property money to a person claiming to collect it for RavDorm. Any payment arranged directly between users is outside the platform and is their responsibility.
If RavDorm later introduces a paid platform service, we will disclose the price, taxes, cancellation and refund rules before obtaining an express purchase instruction. These terms do not authorise a future charge.
7. Prohibited use
You must not use RavDorm to:
- publish false, stolen, unavailable or unauthorised property listings;
- defraud, threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, discriminate unlawfully or solicit sexual services;
- share intimate content without consent, child sexual abuse material, deceptive deepfakes or unlawful content;
- send spam, scrape personal information, bypass access controls or interfere with the service;
- upload malware or attempt to discover credentials, private messages or non-public administrator routes;
- manipulate reviews, availability, rent, view counts, enquiries or verification signals; or
- use the platform in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
8. Your content and communications
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give RavDorm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, resize, transmit, display and moderate that content only as reasonably needed to operate and secure the feature in which you submitted it. This licence does not permit RavDorm to use your content in advertising or promotion outside that feature without separate permission. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful retention, backups, dispute evidence and content already shared with others through the feature.
You promise that you have the rights and permissions required for your content. Private messages are not publicly displayed, but authorised personnel may access relevant messages where reasonably necessary to investigate a report, prevent harm, secure the service or comply with law, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
9. Moderation, suspension and appeals
We may restrict visibility, remove content, request changes, suspend features or restrict an account where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or enforcement of these terms. We will consider context, severity, repeat behaviour and available evidence. Urgent risk may require action before notice.
Where appropriate, we will provide a reason and a way to request review. Reports and appeals may be submitted through the Grievance and Takedown page. We may preserve relevant information for the period required by law.
10. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a safe, reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every user-provided statement is correct. To the extent permitted by law, RavDorm is not responsible for a user's property, conduct, agreement, payment or offline interaction. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You remain responsible for evaluating accommodation, roommates and counterparties. If an emergency or crime may be in progress, contact local emergency services or police first rather than waiting for a platform response.
11. Closing an account
You may ask us to close your account using the privacy or grievance contact. We may need to verify the request. Deletion is subject to limited retention required for fraud prevention, security, legal claims, government directions, removed-content preservation and backups. We will explain material exceptions when responding.
12. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. Material changes will receive reasonable notice and a new version. They apply prospectively from the stated effective date.
Indian law governs these terms. Courts and statutory consumer forums with jurisdiction under applicable law remain available; these terms do not force a user to give up a mandatory remedy. Contact vanshpujari99@gmail.com or use the grievance process with questions.
