1. What browser storage does
Cookies and similar local browser storage can keep a secure session active, remember a privacy choice and prevent repeated prompts. They do not give RavDorm access to unrelated files or apps on your device.
2. Essential use
- Supabase authentication session and refresh-token cookies required for sign-in.
- Security, request integrity and abuse-prevention signals.
- A local record of the privacy choices you make on this device.
Blocking essential authentication storage may prevent account features from working.
3. Optional use
Analytics and marketing categories remain optional and are off by default. Nothing optional loads until you turn it on here, and turning a category off stops it again.
When you enable analytics, RavDorm loads Google Analytics 4 to count page visits and understand which pages are useful. It is configured without Google Signals and without advertising personalisation, so it is not used to build an advertising profile of you. Google acts as RavDorm's analytics provider and may process this data outside India.
- _ga and _ga_* — set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and sessions. Written only after you enable analytics.
- No advertising, retargeting or cross-site marketing tracker is installed. The marketing category records your choice for any future service, which would be listed here before it loads.
Manage preferences
These choices are stored in this browser. Essential storage cannot be disabled because it supports sign-in, security and your explicit preferences.
4. Retention and controls
Authentication storage follows the Supabase session lifecycle. The preference record remains in this browser until you replace it or clear site data. You can also control cookies from your browser settings, but deleting essential storage will sign you out.
5. Questions
For privacy questions or withdrawal requests, use the grievance channel. The broader handling of account data is described in the Privacy Policy.
